Let´s go to the theatre!!!

English Theatre is fun!!!

"Once upon a time..." is the way a tale starts and this is the title of the English play we saw last Friday at Gran Teatro in Villarrobledo by Forum Teatre.
Children from 1st to 3rd level enjoyed and learnt English thanks to four traditional tales: Cinderella, Peter Pan, Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood.
Now you can see some photos of this event.

Later, Children from 4th to 6th level saw the play D'Artagnan. They also learnt a lot  with the help of the English actor and actress about this tale.
Here you have some pictures of the show.

Last 5th June we celebrated the ENVIRONMENT DAY with a different session during the whole day.
Mr.Jesús & me, the English Teachers, have been working  this term on this project along the remedial teaching classes with 5th and 6th levels.
We looked for information on the internet, in websites like Pinterest, to seek advice from recycling works.

After that, pupils worked at home  (families gave a helping hand to them), and in the class we filled in a worksheet with the information of the materials and why it is used for.

Students from 5th and 6th grades brought their works in order to show them to the rest of Jiménez de Córdoba School pupils.
According to this idea, we carried out an EXHIBITION with the slogan:
" THINK, RECYCLE & CREATE". Objects that we use everyday and we throw into the recycling bins can have another LIFE.

In the following photos you will see how many cool things can be created with recycling objects.

Finally, when students and teachers saw the exhibition, they went to the other english classroom to participate in a WORKSHOP.

We made our
ENVIRONMENT IDENTITY CARD.
We took the oath that...

"We promise to protect the environment, recycle as much as possible and respect our natural resources"

It was amazing! Thanks to everybody for coming to the exhibition and workshop!
Remember...
